To my Big Boy

Published by mommyto2 at 6:09 pm under Letters to Boogie Edit This

Dear Boogie,

I had your (my) first teacher conference last week.  I could not be more proud.  Your teacher says you are doing very well.  You are in the top reading group and will be working with the rest of your group on site words starting really soon.  Your teacher also informed me of your PAL assessments that were just completed.  The benchmark for the beginning of the year is 28%.  The benchmark for the end of the year is 86%.  You tested at 85%.  I almost cried.

You are the light of my life and I love you more than anything.

Ms. H (your teacher) and Mrs. L (teacher’s assistant) both commented on what a nice, respectful, little boy you are.  I just wish they would send that kid home.

All my love,

Mom

What an interesting blog idea! BTW I always wished the kids the teachers talked about when they were little (respectful, quiet, listens) would come home as well!

Sounds like your little one is doing very well!

  3. I hope he never comes home. He is doing fine where he is by the sounds of it, don’t take it away from him.

    Dwayne.

I hear you. If only the kids they are at school would transfer back to the home front. Sigh. Ah well, at least they’re not bad at home AND at school!
